Dani Eastwood

A facilitator with a focus on fostering collaborative partnerships, Dani’s goals lie in the true connection of people to their perfect playspaces.  As a mother of 2, Dani’s insight into child-led needs and the way children engage with a space is an inspirational focus.  Children remind us of the value of our imagination – with their ability to create everything out of seemingly nothing when we allow them to explore and freely push their limits.

What do you like most about the industry?
The holistic inter relatedness of the various stake holders coming together to achieve great things – the value add of this collaborative process and results like Lions Park in Gladstone.  Exposure to Urban Design and master planning demonstrates the value of this industry to the future success, health and wellbeing of our communities

What do you like most about PSC?
Being a part of this master planning and urban design process – working with people who are putting thought into the future.  And designing playgrounds is fun – I can connect with my inner child

What is your highlight at PSC so far?
We’re currently working on an iconic project with a renowned Brisbane Landscape Architecture firm – one that will deliver great things for a particular regional QLD community

What is your favourite recreational item we provide?
The Zenith Arcturus.  My penchant for astronomy aligns with its catchphrase to ‘reach for the stars’, and the “grass” panel options and palette allow this system to blend into just about every environment.  And Slides!  Being present in that moment you lose control

What is your motto in life?
Life is too short to live in the trenches – embrace the moment and have a lot of fun!  and Kindness – it costs nothing to be kind
